Gia Carrascoso
Founder & CEO
Gia has spent more than 30 years at the intersection of fashion, media, marketing, and community building. As a designer, her work has been worn by Maye Musk, Vivica A. Fox, and Jeannie Mai.
She began upcycling in the 1980s, launched her fashion line in 2013, and transitioned to an all-upcycled collection in 2023. Through that journey, she experienced firsthand the lack of a one-stop platform for upcycling.
She founded Upcyclers to build the platform she wished existed.
Ary Brown
Technical Co-Founder
Ary brings more than a decade of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, and full stack development. Over the years, he has built and scaled systems across media, commerce, and emerging technologies.
