Upcycled shirt with studs

Made from all men’s dress shirts following Paganoonoo’s Laura upcycle sewing tutorial. The skirt section is constructed of upside sleeves, with the cuffs along the waist. The bottom scalloped hem is the shoulder seam of each sleeve. I’m wearing an upcycled petticoat as the under layer.

This look is part of a collection inspired by the Oceanpunk and Steampunk aesthetics. Developed using the upcycling technique, it transforms discarded denim garments into a new design through the deconstruction and reconstruction of fabric panels. Representing the "Disaster, Tragedy, and Catastrophe" family, the piece reflects the impacts of overconsumption and environmental degradation while proposing a new perspective on sustainability, creativity, and innovation in fashion.

Woven Legacy transforms discarded denim into wearable art. The handwoven sando is made from denim side seams, the mermaid skirt is crafted from reclaimed denim waistbands, and the dramatic cape is assembled from denim patchwork. Every detail gives new life to textile waste, celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and sustainability while proving that fashion can turn discarded materials into timeless couture.

Állexz is an upcycling designer who rescues discarded sofa fabrics, transforming them into luxury style. Defined by bold geometry and signature black lines, his work keeps materials out of landfills. ​This original, gender-neutral jacket combines velvet, faux leather, and reclaimed curtain lining. It features strategic side pockets, a hidden back security pocket, and a matching bag. A purposeful, eco-conscious statement piece.

"From the throne to the streets, from the past to the future." It embodies a vision of Contemporary Royalty, featuring a majestic silhouette, imposing detachable layers, and corsetry that evokes nobility. It reflects the memory of a lineage reborn through everyday textiles, transformed and elevated into haute couture. For this design, 20 damaged pairs of jeans destined for disposal were upcycled and given a new life, turning waste into a statement of creativity and sustainability. ♻️✨

This outfit I made for the 2025 Emerging Designers Runway with Denver Fashion Week. I made this outfit with scrap fabric and second hand clothing. Needle and wet felted sheep picture for cushion cover. Using scraps, donated wool and thread. Embroidery, appliqué used as well.

Wool and silk skirts cut into pieces and upcycled into a dress with layers of pieces. Top of dress made from salvaged sweaters with ruffled wool to match bottom of dress. Vintage sequin sweater cut into pieces and added to upper dress.
