"From the throne to the streets, from the past to the future." It embodies a vision of Contemporary Royalty, featuring a majestic silhouette, imposing detachable layers, and corsetry that evokes nobility. It reflects the memory of a lineage reborn through everyday textiles, transformed and elevated into haute couture. For this design, 20 damaged pairs of jeans destined for disposal were upcycled and given a new life, turning waste into a statement of creativity and sustainability. ♻️✨
Thrifted denim long sleeve polo shirt was upcycled into butterfly sleeve bolero using old denim pants, while a damaged light blue pants and a thrifted oversized long skirt turned into saya. Left over fabrics were used to make earrings, necklace and used as replacement for damaged sandal strap.
This upcycled cigar box purse makes the perfect Valentine's Day gift! I have decoupaged papers onto the top and sides of the box and added a whimsical beaded handle featuring a glass heart.

Corset made from the bark of a palm tree.
