Created for a fashion show themed around the ocean, this piece combines punk and gothic influences with mystical, spiritual imagery. The design was inspired by a cloudy beach atmosphere: the denim and metal details bring a raw punk aesthetic, while the flowing skirt evokes the movement of ocean waves. The entire look was made from donated, second-hand, and leftover materials. The base was a donated black dress, combined with a black-grey denim pair of trousers and scraps of grey plaid fabric and dark blue denim from previous projects. The upper part was reconstructed into a structured denim vest, while the remaining denim and scraps were transformed into a matching bag. To strengthen the connection to the sea, we used a fishing rope found on the beach as a belt. Chains and eyelets were added as punk details, bringing the final look closer to our own identity while giving discarded materials a new life.
This is what Old Jeans can offer: a unique designer garment that is both priceless and timeless. It’s a sustainable yet fashionable piece. The black and gray color scheme beautifully balances the faded areas, transforming the wear of the jeans into art. Meticulously stitched, it's crafted with precision, as if the life of the garment truly depends on it. Would you wear something like this? If so, do you have old jeans that you would love to transform into art?
A pair of jeans and leftover wax scraps from previous sewing projects got a second life as this colourful wallet. I combined denim with small pieces of wax in a patchwork design, adding a zippered compartment and a snap closure. Even the smallest fabric scraps can become something useful and unique! ♻️❤️

This handmade textile bangle transforms discarded fabric scraps into a meaningful piece of wearable art. When I first found these ukay-ukay (Filipino thrift shop) bags, they were old, damaged, wrinkled, and full of holes—the kind most people would simply leave behind. But I saw something worth saving. I brought them home and spent thousands of hours hand-sewing them, stitch by stitch, turning what was once discarded into a one-of-a-kind multi-pocket jacket. I added a detachable hood, a detachable backpack, and details that make the piece both playful and functional. Every stitch, scar, and imperfection tells a story. And in many ways, so do I. This jacket was inspired by the everyday struggles of my own life. It reminds me that things—and people—can be overlooked, worn down, or left behind, yet still have value. I didn’t just make a jacket. I gave something forgotten a new life.
Who’s posing so beautifully here? Of course its @official.bare ✨ A photoshoot during NYFW by @lanoffashion captured through @aleksandrasflyingcircus lens and @ljusproductions So grateful we had the chance to be part of it💖 If you have a jacket without a hood, this hood is a super practical solution!
