A black linen men's shirt turns into a dress with half of a check shirt as a waist band and ruffles. I cut the parts, and pieced them together using double fell seams. The dress preserves subtle hints to its roots, the back pleat now gives space for the bust, the button facing turned into the back skirt slit, and sleeve vents give entry into front pockets...

This dress was made from 6 denim pans.

Wool and silk skirts cut into pieces and upcycled into a dress with layers of pieces. Top of dress made from salvaged sweaters with ruffled wool to match bottom of dress. Vintage sequin sweater cut into pieces and added to upper dress.
I’m Ellise, 23, from the Philippines. I created this patchwork outfit with love and patience for my May 2025 graduation pictorial because I couldn’t afford a new outfit. Instead, I made my own using 10-peso thrifted jumpsuits and pieces from my old pre-loved clothes. I enjoy creating from scraps because it sparks my imagination and creativity. Through this piece, I hope to share my craftsmanship, inspire others and raise awareness about fast fashion.

I created this sustainable hoodie using a camel color thrifted hoodie and a owl t-shirt, hand-painted the feathers on denim layering the components on gray blanket material addint them to the base hoodie.

Dungarees made from recycled-upcycled off cut Denim fabric. Attached & Stitched with heavy duty thread to last many years, and serve the purpose of dungarees as work wear and manual physical labor garment. Remade dungaree using recycled denim and upcycled on to Ankara. Ankara fused with more tough material to protect the integrity of a functioning dungaree made for manual labour.

The Soul of the Stitch: Double-Upcycled Witness the evolution of sustainable craft. This large backpack is a third-life evolution, born from an already upcycled jacket. I transformed it through the art of hand-stitching for superior durability. Unlike mass-produced bags, the inner lining is rugged denim, integrated and hand-sewn directly into the outer layers to create a rock-solid core. It’s "industrial-grade" handmade armor—proving that circular fashion is a story of resilience built to last
