This outfit I made for the 2025 Emerging Designers Runway with Denver Fashion Week. I made this outfit with scrap fabric and second hand clothing. I made this piece to celebrate thrifting and reusing! “We already have enough clothing on this planet to clothe the next 6 generations!” - British Fashion Council

I made this upcycled outfit for Denver Fashion Week May, 2026! The poem I wrote about this outfit: “Amidst the cycles of harm, may we learn from the dandelion who’s tender green leaves push through the cracks of asphalt, giving the soil beneath a chance to breathe. Restoring life is always a possibility. An ecologist once told me of how even in the most desolate urban areas, that when you start a garden, the birds and bugs start to return, they start to find their way back home.”
