A couple of flannel shirts and some harvested pockets were cut apart and reassembled to create this fit and flare shirt. I kept the color palette very similar for a cohesive look. The design is my own, it is the #Paganoonoo_patti tutorial.

100% cotton denim is one of my favorite materials to upcycle. A kimono style jacket is timeless and a perfect way to use old jeans. This one should become even more beautiful with wear and tear, perhaps turning into a Boro style garment someday. I’m an upcycle fashion designer writing sewing tutorials since 2015. The pattern is my own design, the Carol Jacket. It’s also been made from vintage linens, old quilts, shower curtains, and mixed fabrics.

I love overalls for gardening and have always been inspired by Magnolia Pearl’s heavily embellished clothing. After purchasing a beautifully worn-in pair of Key brand overalls off of E-bay, I started to embellish them and continue to. I’ve used patches, vintage yo-yos, bits of quilts, and other assorted materials. If I happen to wear them out to the grocery store I get stopped as people love to see something unique and handmade. I love sharing about upcycling.
