Preserved memories

This upcycled dress was created from a collection of colorful cotton underwear that once belonged to my beloved daughter when toddler. When these pieces no longer fit, I could not discard them preserved rather than sent to a landfill.

To transform these garments, I carefully cut them into fabric pieces and reconstructed them arranging and joining them like a mosaic while the glitter elastic bands intersects in the back of the dress.
